Accessibility statement
Last updated 16 September 2026 · CTD Scotland Ltd · Company no. SC513395
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard alone, or a phone in bright sunlight on a building site.
What we have aimed for
This site was built to target WCAG 2.2 level AA. We have not had it independently audited, so this statement describes what was done rather than certifying a result.
What that means in practice
- Every page uses proper headings in order, so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
- Every image carries alternative text describing the room and the place, not the filename.
- The whole site works by keyboard, and the focused element is always visibly outlined.
- A skip link jumps past the navigation to the main content.
- Text is set against backgrounds that meet or exceed the AA contrast ratio.
- Nothing moves, flashes or animates for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
- Buttons, links and form fields are sized for a thumb, not a mouse pointer.
- Every form field has a visible label attached to it, and errors are described in words.
- Text can be resized to 200% without anything overlapping or being cut off.
- The page works at 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling.
Known limitations
Being straight about the gaps is more useful than claiming there are none.
- Some project photographs carry text within the image itself, such as a shop sign. The alternative text describes it, but the text in the photograph cannot be resized.
- Colour contrast on photographic backgrounds is managed with an overlay. On an unusually bright screen a caption may be harder to read than the measured ratio suggests.
- Any third-party content embedded in future, such as a map, may not meet the same standard.

About this statement
Prepared on 16 September 2026, based on a self-assessment of the site carried out by Meere Marketing during the build. It will be reviewed when the site next changes materially.
