What we take on.

CTD Scotland delivers high-quality residential extensions, renovations and refurbishments across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Extensions

An extension should feel like part of the original home rather than an addition to it. We can manage the construction process from preparation and structural works through to internal finishes and completion, coordinating the required trades throughout.

Full renovations

From individual areas to substantial property renovations, we work with clients to transform existing spaces while considering the practical requirements of the building. Our experience includes structural alterations, internal reconfiguration, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, plastering, decorating, joinery, electrical and plumbing works, and bespoke finishes.

Bespoke interiors

Some residential projects require more than standard construction. Our joinery capability allows us to incorporate bespoke elements into a project, including fitted furniture, storage, doors, stair components and other individually designed pieces. This gives the client and design team greater scope to create something specific to the property.

02 / How we work
02 / How we work

From idea to finished home.

CTD brings the same professional project management, construction expertise and attention to detail that define all of our projects.

We can work with clients, architects and designers from the early stages of a project, or become involved once the design and specification are established.

Whatever stage we join the project, our focus remains the same: good planning, good communication and quality workmanship.

  • 01Good planning We develop the scope, programme and procurement requirements, coordinating with the wider project team where required.
  • 02Good communication Clients and project teams should know where a project stands and what is happening next.
  • 03Quality workmanship We care about the standard of the finished project and the detail that goes into achieving it.
  • 04Accountability We take responsibility for the work we undertake and work with the wider project team to resolve issues as they arise.
